Join Us On Friday December 2nd for the annual City of Washington Christmas Parade. The evening will begin with music at the Courthouse at 5:30. And at 6:40 we will celebrate with Light Up Night at the Washington County Courthouse. After the tree is lite on the courthouse steps the parade will begin at 7:00. As always we will have the Christmas toy train display at the George Washington Hotel. There will be Hot Chocolete, Hot Cider and Cookies for the kids and Santa and Mrs Clause will make a special appearance at the hotel. There will also be Hot Chocolate and Cookies to warm up with at the Life Church on the corner of Chestnut and Main, where Santa will also be making a surprise visit.
The Toy Train Display at the George Washington Hotel will be open Starting Firday November 26 from 5;00pm to 8:00 and will continue on Fridays, Saturdays from 5;00-8:oo and on Sundays from 2:00-8:00 Then the display will be open Thursday December 22 and Friday the 24th from 5:00-8:00 and will be closed December 24-26. There will be special Display times during the week of December 26th. Please call the WBDA for more information.
